Working 6 hours at Lone Star College Fire Academy
I haven’t seen any weight loss this week. I’ll
increase my cardio-fitness and try harder to get into a significant calorie
deficit.
Breakfast: Breakfast Tacos: 9
Tacos have been a long time staple of mine,
although I’m not use to corn tortillas. I don’t mind the corn tortillas, but
they kept falling apart. I would have liked a small amount of fresh organic
salsa to complete this dish.
Snack: Chicken Fruit Bowl: 8
I’m really enjoying the MFF snacks. This entrĂ©e included grapefruit, which I didn’t
eat. Otherwise, tasty and filling snack!
Lunch: Simple Chicken: 9
All my favorites in one dish; chicken, rice, and
broccoli. Although I found myself wanting something with spices.
Dinner: Chili
PM Snack: Shake
The daily push-up challenge is not getting any
easier, although I did 30 continuous push-ups this morning. My legs must be
sore, because the squats were tough.
Push-ups: 47
Squats: 47
I took Molly for a walk/run on the greenbelts. The
humidity sucked a lot of my energy, but the intervals were dog walking
friendly. I tested Molly and ran the last mile home. She did GREAT. A few more walk/runs
training sessions and she will be my official running buddy…
Walk:
5.44 miles
1:22:30
15:10 pace
After lunch I went for a bike ride. It’s only been
a couple hours since my walk, but the weather improved significantly. Nice cool
temps, gentle breeze, and the sun was trying to peek through the clouds. On the
other hand, my legs were far worse than earlier. My legs are sore and the ride
was harsh.
Trail Bike:
5.89 miles
35:05
10.1 mph
