Sick

Shortly after getting off work at the fire department I started feeling ill. My off day schedule was packed and I was sure to be busy all day, but I had to put everything on hold.

By the time I got back home at 10am, I was running a 102 degree fever, nauseated/vomiting, and I had general weakness all over.

I slept till 6:30pm. The only reason I woke up was to walk to the Foster Elementary and tell the Texas Trail Nerd gang that I would not be running with them. This was a huge disappointment for me as there were about eight runners in attendance, including Steve Boone.

A few hours later I was back in bed for the remainder of the night…
