Yesterday’s crappy day lasted throughout the night. We made six EMS calls after 10pm and they were spaced far enough apart to prevent any sleep. I wasn’t in any shape to work, so I made arrangements with my part-time job, which they didn’t mind.
The new truck I ordered has finally arrived. It is badass and I can’t wait to drive it home. I gave them the ok to proceed with the aftermarket add-on’s. Hopefully I’ll have it by next week.
I joined a "hybrid" function fitness club called, TEAM SWOLL today and had my first workout. That was a wickedly tough workout. Coach Alex said most first time members only make it 13-15 minutes. I’m proud to say I made it 22-minutes… but it came at a cost. When I stopped at 22-minutes it was because I was outside throwing up in the grass. After resting a few minutes I tried to rejoin the guys, but I was done. The workout was so hard it took 10-15 minutes for my heart rate to come down!
A couple hours later Blazer and I walked to Schlotzsky’s for a well deserved sandwich. It was an eventful walk under the cool evening sky.
Walk:
2.71 miles
45:01
16:36 pace
