Knee pain and resetting goals

While at work something weird happened with my knee yesterday. Late in the shift I was sitting at the table and when I stood up there was an awful pain on the posterior-lateral aspect of my patella. The pain was significant enough that I was walking with a limp. The issue is still bothering me today, but not nearly as bad.

I’m going to reset my burn and deficit parameters back to the original numbers. Without the constant burn (like I have at MSC), it is VERY difficult to achieve my daily goals. Today was a prime example. It’s been a busy day, but I'm not even close to my numbers. In fact, I’d have to log an additional two hours of cardio to reach my goal for today.

My weight has been jumping up and down with large swings. When my weight swings to the high side it is hard to accept. This morning I saw a 3.5 pound increase. URG!

I had my free-meal of Mexican food. All seemed well until later in the evening when I realized how far behind I was with my burn. My free-meal day turned into a “the hell with it” day, resulting in another high calorie meal. No reason to dwell on the foods... tomorrow is a new day.

Blazer and I were on the bayou trail when a large rain storm caught us by surprise. The rain didn’t bother me, but the lightening was entirely too close for comfort.
