First thing this morning I mowed the lawn, which took a few hours.
I’m amazed how tolerable the temperatures are when high humidity levels are not in the mix. When I took off on today’s run it was 98-degrees, yet the conditions felt better than the last half-dozen runs.
Another thing I find remarkable; The amount of damage done to your legs by running on concrete. For the first time in months my legs were sore. The soreness only lasted a few hours after yesterday’s run, but they were sore nonetheless.
Today’s pace felt swift, but the Garmin Forerunner revealed the same average pace. No worries from me, it was still a good workout.
Run:
1.07 mile
12:02
11:15 pace
Walk:
1.93 miles
34:23
17:49 pace
