Productive

It has been a wonderfully productive day. I walked the bayou trail to Northpark shortly after waking up. Even though it was technically still morning (9am), the temperature felt like it was near ninety degrees. Other than a lot of sweating, I had a good walk.

Walk:
4.92 miles
1:29:15
18:07 pace

I finally decided to dig up the old sago palm next to the driveway. The project turned out to be more than I expected. I learned that the 'business end' of a shovel burns a lot of calories! A half dozen or more other small projects got completed as well.

This is the second day in a roll that my activity level kept me from logging two plus hours of cardio. Side note; I have logged more than THIRTEEN HOURS of cardio in the last seven days!

There's countless online programs to help log your caloric intake, but the bodybugg is truly helping me understand the number of calories I burn with various activities. My adherence is solid, so much so that I skipped the weekend "free meal". I might move the frequency to every two or three weeks. We'll see...

This evening I've been taking care of a new friend that had elective surgery this morning. Everything went well and she should be up and running in no time.
