Adventures in smoothie construction...

Three weeks ago I ordered Chocolate flavored Vega, and yesterday it finally arrived. Karen cautioned me about adding anything to the chocolate flavor. Well, I'm not sure what to think of this flavor. The taste is tolerable, but there is an unique fragrance to it. The smell reminds me of burnt coffee. Yuck. It doesn't mix well either. The content kept settling to the bottom. I certainly won't let it go to waste, but now I wish I had bought a smaller container of chocolate vega.

At work today.

Workout went like this; thirty minute on recumbent bike, 15-minute treadmill walk, 5-minute treadmill run, 15-minute treadmill walk, then upper body workout.

Near the end of the workout I was again fatigued and very hungry. This lasted into the wee hours of the night. Wish I knew what was triggering this, so I can avoid pitfalls.
