HEB Bayou City Classic 10k

The temperature was about 65 degress and overcast. We went out too fast and tried to slow down the second and third mile. We had a goal of less than 1:12:00, Hoped for less than 1:10:00 and dreamed of less than 1:08:00. We finished 1:05:06. NEW 10K PR!!!! The heat and humitiy was hard. After 5 miles we didn't have much left for a kick. I was able to dig deep and kick the last 100 yards, which enabled me to pass a couple men.
